To find the version of an installed npm package, you can use the following commands:
- To see the version of an installed Node.js or npm package, run
npm list <package-name>
. - To see the latest version of a package in the registry, run
npm view <package-name> version
. - To see the installed npm packages with their version, run
npm ls --depth=0
. By default, this displays what is installed locally. To see the globally installed packages, add theglobal
argument:npm ls --depth=0 -global
You can replace the <package-name>
with the name of the package you wish to check.
